As Time Goes By.....

Wow, a whole week has gone by and I have failed to post to my new blog! I have such grand ambitions and yet can't seem to come up with a plan. I have lots to say, like, the first baby I carried as a surrogate turned 4 on Wednesday. It also doesn't seem possible that school for this year has only 4 more months before summer break. You know what really doesn't seem possible? That I have 4 kids (I had to find something else related to "4". (Big, nerdy smile!)

My Glamorous Life As The Wife of A Chiropractor

I think that Fridays will be my day to talk about my life as the wife of a chiropractor. It all started on October 15, 1994, our wedding day..... Actually, it started before that when I walked into the office where he was working doing new patient exams and x-rays. He was fresh out of school and not yet licensed in California.

Anyway, here's this cute doctor, I'm the new patient in pain, and the first thing he does is introduce himself and say, "Please take off all of your clothing, except for your underwear, and put this gown on. I'll be back in just a moment."

I'm thinking, "He is ADORABLE......Wow, this gown is THIN!"

He didn't ask me out for another year and a half, and only because we had a mutual friend and saw eachother at a few events at his church. The rest is history.

Come on back next Friday when I'll write about my sweet husband throwing out my deodorant on the first day of our honeymoon!

Well here it is...my first posting on my first blog. I've wanted to do this forever but never made the time. In truth, I never really had the guts either. So..........I'm not sure how I'll start this, and I'll have to be careful not to put everything in the first post! My mind is filled with so many things that I've wanted to write but had no outlet.

In this blog I hope to talk about being a chiropractor's wife (believe me...there's much to say!), motherhood, raising boys, being a surrogate two times, and loving God.

For now I will say goodbye. I have to gather my thoughts and I'll be back.
